The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research honored Al-Ameed University among fifty universities that topped the list of state institutions in volunteer work initiatives.
Dr. Hussein Hakem, Head of the Student Activities Department at Al-Ameed University, said, "His Excellency the Minister of Education honored our university at the First Conference for Volunteer Work 2025, which was organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to honor fifty universities leading state institutions in volunteer work initiatives."
Hakem added, "The recognition came for the outstanding contributions of public and private universities in the fields of volunteer work, including Al-Ameed University."
Hakem pointed out that "volunteer work at Al-Ameed University represents a living extension of the higher education mission. Its achievements, recognized locally and globally, embody and affirm its active role in promoting the values of social responsibility and building a generation capable of sustainable giving."
